Phendimetrazine Usage:
Take phendimetrazine exactly as prescribed. Take each dose with a full glass
of water. Phendimetrazine should be taken once a day before meals on an
empty stomach. Do not take phendimetrazine in the evening as it may cause
insomnia. Do not crush, chew, or open any Phendimetrazine tablets or capsules;
swallow whole. Never take more of Phendimetrazine than is prescribed for
you - if you miss a dose, skip the given day, and take your next dose on
your regularly scheduled time the next day. Too much Phendimetrazine could
be very dangerous to your health, do not double dose! If you feel you've
taken too much of Phendimetrazine, or are having strong side affects contact
your Primary Care Physician immediately or seek emergency attention. Phendimetrazine
should be stored at room temperature away from moisture and heat.
Phendimetrazine Drug Interactions:
You cannot take Phendimetrazine if you have taken a monoamine oxidase inhibitor
(MAOI) such as isocarboxazid (Marplan), tranylcypromine (Parnate), or phenelzine
(Nardil) in the last 14 days. Changes in insulin and other diabetes drug
therapies may be necessary during treatment with Phendimetrazine. If you
have diabetes it is not recommended that you purchase Phendimetrazine without
first consulting your Primary Care Physician. Phendimetrazine may reduce
the effects of guanethidine (Ismelin, which may cause an increase in blood
pressure. Please inform our physicians if you are taking guanethidine. It
is also important that our physicians know if you are currently taking a
tricyclic antidepressant such as amitriptyline (Elavil), amoxapine (Asendin),
doxepin (Sinequan), nortriptyline (Pamelor), imipramine (Tofranil), clomipramine
(Anafranil), protriptyline (Vivactil), or desipramine (Norpramin). These
drugs may decrease the effects of Phendimetrazine.
Phendimetrazine Precautions:
You cannot take Phendimetrazine if you have heart disease or high blood
pressure; have arteriosclerosis (hardening of the arteries); have glaucoma;
have taken a monoamine oxidase inhibitor (MAOI) such as isocarboxazid (Marplan),
tranylcypromine (Parnate), or phenelzine (Nardil) in the last 14 days; have
a history of drug or alcohol abuse. Our physicians must be informed (via
the Medical Questionnaire associate with your order) if you have problems
with your thyroid, an anxiety disorder, epilepsy or another seizure disorder,
or diabetes. Do not take Phendimetrazine if you are pregnant or breast feeding.
This product may be habit forming and withdrawal affects may occur after
several weeks of continuous use. Keep Phendimetrazine out of the reach of
children.
Phendimetrazine Side Effects:
If you experience any of the following serious side effects, stop taking
phendimetrazine and seek emergency medical attention: an allergic reaction
(difficulty breathing; closing of your throat; swelling of your lips, tongue,
or face; or hives); an irregular heartbeat or very high blood pressure (severe
headache, blurred vision); or hallucinations, abnormal behavior, or confusion.
Other, less serious side effects may be more likely to occur, such as: restlessness
or tremor, nervousness or anxiety, headache or dizziness, insomnia, dry
mouth or an unpleasant taste in your mouth, diarrhea or constipation, or
impotence or changes in your sex drive. If you begin to feel withdrawal
effects when stopping Phendimetrazine, talk to your Primary Care Physician
about stopping Phendimetrazine on a more gradual basis. Side effects other
than those listed may also occur. Talk to your Primary Care Physician about
side effects that seem unusual or that is especially bothersome. |
